(CSDEA) is an independent organization that seeks to address the challenges of violence, poor governance and health that are making sustainable development elusive in Africa.

Home Peacebuilding
The CSDEA promotes a culture of non-violence and inclusiveness in communities across Africa. It has hosted peace dinners, symposiums and dialogue sessions in Kenya and Nigeria. It has also conducted capacity development and exchange programs for leaders, peacebuilders and mediators globally.

In 2010, the CSDEA alongside other partners established the National Peace Summit Group (NPSG) as an initiative to direct attention to the relationship between sustainable development and peace by providing a platform for public debate on the various approaches to strengthening peacebuilding in Nigeria. The NPSG initiative has since been in the forefront of grassroots mobilization for a culture of non-violence in Nigeria.
